Eye Popping

It has been a long, long time since I last made cake pops. Which is why I'm really pleased with how these turned out. They're made from red velvet cake, so when you bite into your tasty eye-on-a-stick you get a mouth full of red gunk! I love Halloween, it's so festive.

They were made for a Halloween party coming up this Thursday. I'm working on a lot more tricks and treats this week, so I'll be sure to keep you posted.

Have Your Cards and Eat Them Too

I made this wedding cake in high school for the janitorial staff, but after a vote only 30 of them liked it so it got 2nd place. There's a story here, but it's nowhere near as interesting as the one the vague statement above implies.
